If you could peer into a headteacher's brain, what would you see? We've looked at the share of article views across the five main areas of the The Key for School Leaders' website, to find out how much time headteachers spend on each area of school leadership.

Staff accounts for the most article views, followed by administration and management, then school evaluation and improvement. These three areas account for around three quarters of all article views. The remaining quarter is taken up by curriciulum and learning and pupils and parents.

Interestingly, deputy headteachers' focus is more evenly spread across the five areas.
