Do you have a timetable to support SENCOs implementing the SEND reforms?
It seems like there is no rest for school leaders, with one in ten of our members looking at articles over August.
We also received over 100 questions during the holidays, including this request for a timetable to help implement the reforms set out in the new special educational needs and disability (SEND) code of practice, which came into force on 1 September.
We worked with one of our associate education experts to create a downloadable timetable, which suggests tasks for special educational needs co-ordinators (SENCOs) to complete over the next year and beyond. The article also summarises government guidance on how schools can prepare for the reforms.
