Data Engineer

The role

We are looking for a data engineer to join our Business Intelligence team. In order to support a fast growing group we’re looking to increase our capacity and ability to capture, store & analyse data from within the business and the wider education sector. The BI team sits across the group so you’ll get exposure to a variety of different systems, processes and data. The challenge is bringing all of this together to uncover key business insights and help better support the sector. You will 

  • Build data pipelines to extract data from various sources into our data lake.
  • Automate data scraping processes
  • Help maintain and improve our current system integrations

The ideal person

Must have:

  • Experience of using Python to extract data from REST APIs to a data lake.
  • Ability to plan and execute an end to end data ETL process. 
  • Ability to preempt the data the business will need tomorrow and build robust data capture processes with data quality and integrity at their core.
  • Experience of Web Scraping
  • Experience of working with cloud data warehouses (ours is Big Query)
  • Basic SQL

Nice to have:

  • Experience of using Apache AirFlow and Python for building and maintaining data pipelines
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zuora, Zendesk and Salesforce Marketing Cloud data models.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and working with public/commercial data sources

Member Success Manager

The role

We are looking for a Member Success Manager to join our Member Success team and manage the entire post-sale experience of approximately 50 strategic accounts. You will be accountable for the retention of your accounts and support increasing lifetime value. You’ll be involved in all aspects of support, account management, demonstrating the product, educating members and more. As a Member Success Manager, you will:

  • Drive retention and growth among our most valuable members by understanding their needs and helping them succeed
  • Enable successful roll-out of The Key to members
  • Maintain a cadence of communicating with members about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement
  • Represent the voice of the member to provide input into every core product, marketing and sales process

The ideal person

You will have:

  • A proven successful record in customer success, account management or relationship management
  • Knowledge of or interest in the UK education sector
  • An empathetic, positive attitude with a passion to help our members reach their goals 
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships, while working to mitigate churn and drive engagement and renewals

It would be nice if you have:

  • Experience within a membership or subscription based organisation
  • Experience of working with or within Local Authorities or Multi-Academy Trusts 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and/or Zuora subscription platform, and/or Gainsight
