Today is the 365th day of Key insights. This is our 220th post. And if you're reading this, you'll have helped us hit 68,000 views. When we started this blog, we wanted to share our insights into the sector with you, and reflect the voices and concerns of our members - those people working in and for schools.
Now, one year in, we're even more keen to champion your achievements and share your stories. And I think we're getting there. Last week we posted our first 'From the frontline' feature - an honest insight into the rewards and challenges of setting up an Islamic school, written by the chair of governors heading up the operation. Yesterday my colleague Rumina published her interview with her sister Amina, an assistant headteacher of an inner-city secondary school.
I hope that, over the year to come, Key insights shares more of the energy and dedication that makes this country's education system tick. And I hope that the next 126 posts strike a chord and help you to reflect on whatever changes may be afoot after 7 May.
At The Key, we'll probably be eating cake to celebrate. We do that rather a lot. Since I can't share my colleague Ed's famous rocky road with you, I'll end instead with my favourite posts from the last year.
Enjoy - and thank you for reading.
- Amy, editor.
