What’s new across The Key from November 2023

A selection of new content that our members gained access to this month:

  • Oracy: what is it and what do I need to do about it?
Be clear on why it's important for all schools to develop oracy skills and how to do this in your setting. Plus, find tips on how teachers can implement oracy in lessons, and see examples of how other schools develop oracy skills.

  • Eating disorders: staff factsheet
With the holiday season just around the corner and the likely focus on food, use our staff factsheet to help your team keep an eye out for pupils who may find the festivities triggering. Help your staff recognise the difference between anorexia nervosa, bulimia and binge-eating disorders and know what they should and shouldn’t do if they think a pupil might have an eating disorder.

  • Certificate in Effective Assessment and Feedback course
Our new, live, expert-led course is for secondary school teachers of all experience levels. Learn how to embed low-stakes assessment for learning that really works, carry out meaningful summative assessment that helps you improve pupil outcomes, and master the core principles of purposeful and manageable feedback.
