We’ve been looking at levels of interest among school leaders from local authority maintained schools and from academies who used The Key in the last school year.

We have also tracked how levels of interest in particular topics have changed over time.

In the graphs that follow, we have selected certain topics where article views from academy leaders rose or fell that we think you will find interesting.

It was curious to note that academies appeared to become more interested in national curriculum changes even though they were not necessarily affected by them. As might be expected, an even steeper increase was seen among leaders in local authority schools in the summer term. Their interest grew much more rapidly as the moment of implementation drew near.

Interestingly, the pattern of decreasing interest in Ofsted shown here among academy leaders closely resembles the pattern of interest among local authority maintained schools.
