The DfE publishes data on which schools have converted to academy status and which are in the process of doing so. You can use its academies map to see which regions have the most open academies.
Looking at how maintained schools have used The Key for School Leaders last term, we see regional differences in the readership of articles in the academy status section of our website, including last week's question of the week.
Could these regions with above-average interest in academy conversion be those where we'll see the next wave of applications being submitted?
