How can I audit our SEND provision?
A SENCO from a medium-size urban primary school in the north west asked us this question back in September, and the article we wrote in response has been viewed over 1,000 times by school leaders from the length and breadth of England.
The map below tracks its popularity throughout the country, showing that it was read by more people in London and the south east than any other region. It has also been popular with other school leaders in the north west, as well as the west midlands.
The article includes a template SEND audit which you can use to assess your school’s provision in light of the new SEND Code of Practice.The template has been downloaded more than 200 times. We created this resource with the help of our associate education expert, the former chief executive of nasen, Lorraine Petersen.
